Volition And SAPICS Join Forces To Advance The Supply Chain Profession

13 July 2010 - A shared commitment to advancing the supply chain profession forms the basis of the long-standing partnership between SAPICS, the Association for Operations Management of Southern Africa, and Volition Consulting Services, says director David Long. In addition to its sponsorship of the upcoming SAPICS Conference for supply chain and operations professionals, Volition is also sponsoring a student initiative that will enable aspiring supply chain professionals to attend the event.

Customer Services as a division is responsible for all the after-sales parts supply to the Toyota dealer network. They have been a long standing client and partner of Volition. We as Volition were approached in late 2007 to assist them to take their supplier relationships and interaction to a new level. This was becoming necessary due to the increased number of new models being introduced into Africa and the rapid growth that was being experienced in the vehicle market locally and abroad.
